The Bag Lady

This year I finally broke down and invested in a rolling bag to carry around all of my instruments. Last school year, I used a great shoulder bag that fit almost everything, but by the end of the day, my shoulders were wrecked from having to lug it in and out of schools. I was resisting the advice of those around me who told me I needed to get a rolling bag to help alleviate pain. For some reason, I was under the impression that using a rolling bag would make me seem like a weakling and I would be ridiculed for using it. I tend to care too much about what others think about me... it's a weakness that I'm working on!
Well, I was shopping at The Container Store, and found this great "shopping trolley." It was actually on clearance for $21, so I bought it on an impulse and I am so glad I did! I can fit so much in this bag! On a typical day, it will carry my ukulele, my smaller bag of percussion/auxiliary instruments, an ocean drum, visual aids and manipulatives, and possibly my lunch and a drink. I've also been able to carry a 24" tall tubano, my ukulele, and visual aids.
I took a few pictures of my bag so you can get a better idea of the dimensions, and I'll share links to a few similar bags below. Thanks so much for reading!
